Ty Newberry

I’m Ty. I live in Atlanta with my wife Leighton and our son, who was born in May.

Some things that are true: there are around 14,000 notes on my phone, typed with two thumbs, mostly while walking. I’ve read somewhere north of 700 books, and if you put them in the order I read them you could probably reconstruct every problem I’ve ever had.

What I’m interested in, roughly in the order it took over: how the body works, then how learning works, then philosophy, then faith, then psychology, then how businesses actually run. None of it ever really left, so on a given day it’s usually some mix of all of it.

I own a business, which is why that last one gets the most airtime. My wife also runs one, and so does her dad, and my dad, and my brothers. So it’s on my mind most days. I’d probably think about it anyway.

There’s a book I’ve been working on. I made this to have somewhere to put things. Not sure what yet.
